
Karen Gilliam is the Chief Financial Officer of David P. Gilliam & Associates and the wife and business partner of David Gilliam. With more than 25 years of financial experience, she has been an integral member of the firm since its inception. She enjoys co-owning a business with her husband and wearing many hats, managing the back office responsibilities, including payroll, taxes, accounting, and marketing.
Prior to forming the firm with her husband, Karen worked at her alma mater, Ball State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Office Administration. As the Assistant to the Director of Finance, she coordinated accounting documentation, computer analysis, and preparation of the Prospectus for the university’s bond sales.
Outside of the office, Karen spends much of her time with her family, especially her three grandchildren. She and David enjoy traveling throughout the states and abroad, and Karen also is involved with foreign and local missions. At home in her Muncie, Indiana community, she participates in the music ministry of her church.

Favorite Book: Redeeming Love, by Francine Rivers, a beautiful story of unconditional love. This is a difficult question to narrow down as I love to read!
